I went to see the movie Gridiron Gang, and I was surprised surprised how much it affected me. It really shows how young people today--how all of us need to belong. How hatred and unforgiveness can eat you up. It is based on a true story and stars Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Xzibit, Venessa Ferlito. It is about teenagers at a juvenile detention detention center and how they start to see their own .self worth by playing for a football team. They don't glamourize any of it. At the end, they show footage of the real kids. I liked this film. I give it a 3.5 out of 5. I also went to see Flyboys. It is set in 1916 during the First World War. It tells the story of six American boys who join the French Air Force. ( The American's hadn't joined the war yet.) The survival survival rate, for these flyers, was six weeks. The film stars James Franco, Jean Reno, Martin Henderson, and Blaine Rawlings and is based on a true story. I really enjoyed the aerial fight sequences, with the old planes and the beautiful beautiful country side. (It was filmed in England.) I give this film a 3 out of 5.
