Some Choralists in the choir are Police Service members and have been practicing together for several months. Members from the Com munity "are welcomed" says Heather Mason, Choral Director. Director. "We mostly need men with bass and tenor voices. A limited amount of alto and soprano (female) spaces are also available but more importantly we need people whose hearts are into it!" The mixed voices choir will be performing at the Police Memorials in Ottawa and Toronto, and soon, for our communities in Durham Region and around the GTA. "It is exciting to be representing representing the Police Service in this capacity. This participation is strictly on a volunteer basis and is meant for the community's community's enjoyment," she says. All Volunteers will need to complete a Criminal Information Request (C.I.R.) prior to becoming a full time member.
