NOTICE OF STUDY COMPLETION Green Road Extension and CP Rail Grade Separation Schedule 'C Class Environmental Assessment The Municipality of Clarington has completed an Environmental Study Report (ESR) for the recommended extension of Green Road between Boswell Drive and Baseline Road, including improvements to the CP Rail grade separation located just south of Boswell Drive. The study has been conducted in compliance with Schedule C of the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (June 2000), which is approved under the Ontario Environmental Assessment Act. Subject to comments received as a result of this Notice and the receipt of necessary approvals, the Municipality intends to proceed to detail design and implementation of this project. The preferred design calls for the extension of Green Road from Baseline Road to Boswell Drive to a 2 lane urban cross section. The proposed pavement width of 11 metres will accommodate 2 travelled lanes, bicycle lanes and turn lanes at intersections where required.. Modern roundabouts are proposed at 2 locations along the extended Green Road alignment. The proposed crossing of the CP railway will be facilitated by a single span subway structure. By this Notice, the ESR is being placed on the public record, and is available for review at the following locations commencing January 5,2007: which addresses individual environmental assessments. Requests must be received in writing by the Ministry at the address below by February 9,2007. A copy of the request must also be sent to Mr. Bianco at the Municipality's Engineering Services Department. If there are no requests received by February 9,2007, the project will proceed to design and construction as presented in the planning ■ documentation.
