Orono Weekly Times, Wednesday, May 14,2003 O'Toole regrets finger incident Durham MPP John O'Toole, whose vulgar hand gesture in the legislature was caught on videotape and published in a number of Toronto area newspapers, apologized for the incident again on Tuesday. Mr. O'Toole was photographed photographed sneering and presenting presenting "the finger" to political rivals after he was interrupted while defending the legality of recent offsite offsite Tory budget announce ments. Mr. O'Toole says he is seeking the forgiveness of constituents and offers an explanation for what he calls a very unfortunate incident.
