Orono Weekly Times, Wednesday, June 11,2003 - 11 DEATH NOTICE COATHAM Howard Rae Coatham of Red Deer, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, May 23, 2003 at the age of 76 years. Bom on April 28, 1927 on a small farm near Orono, Ontario. Howard settled out west in his adult years and was well known for his involvement in the trucking industry. He is survived by his wife Kathleen (Kay); five daughters: daughters: Judy Purdie of Red Deer, Dawn (Al) Avilla of California, Wendy (Bud) Bagnall of Red Deer, Sue Coatham (Denise) of Calgary, Crystal (Lyle) Ophus of Red Deer; nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; stepchildren: Terry, Cory (Corlene) Gow of Red Deer, David (Barb) Gow of Edmonton along with several step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren. His brothers also survive Howard: Robert (Janet) of Red Deer, Edward (Grace) of Orono, Ontario and Thomas of Bowmanville, Ontario. Howard also left behind a special pet companion, Dusty. Howard was predeceased predeceased by the Mother of his children, Alberta Coatham (Hamilton), his only son Thomas, nephew Billy Coatham, his parents Halsted and Kathryn arid stèp-daüghtër BartTDoyle. Other family members and friends will sadly miss Howard. Special thanks to Dr. Holmes, Albert and Isabel Garble, the EMS personnel arid City RCMP.
