Twelve senior gardeners entered one hundred and thirty- eight exhibits judged by Mina Clappison who wrote appreciative appreciative suggestions concerning some exhibits. A container of mixed flowers flowers arranged by Isabel Hart was the Judge's Choice. Isabel also earned one hundred and sixty points and Vicki Lesnick was runner-up. Isabel showed the sweepstake aster, dahlia and rose while Jack Crago entered Fair Ambassador Contest still open This year's Durham Central Fair Ambassador Contest is still open to contestants, contestants, male or female, aged 17 or over. Other Juniors taking part in the show were Kassia Kulyk, Tamara Kulyk, Bethany Witvoet and Marina Witvoet. The Witvoet girls did an excellent excellent job of miniature arrangements. arrangements.
