Orono was slow to start but made an amazing comeback half way through the second period with a final score of 5-2 in Orono's favour. Outstanding goaltending by Alex Bortolazzo and strong defense by Cameron Reilly, Tate Simpson, Owen King, Tory Manion and Dustin Boyd held the other team to only two goals. The entire team played a great game with Tate Simpson leading the score with 2 goals and one assist, followed by Jacob Diamond with one goal and one assist. Mitchell Van Schyndel and Cameron Reilly had one goal each. Austin Cole earned two assists for his efforts and Tory Manion and Mitchell Trachsler earned one assist each. Daniel Benedict, Kale Stephens, Connor Heagan, Lucas Crosby and Trevor Greenwood contributed to Orono's success with some great offensive moves. The coaching staff (Neil, Carlos, Todd and Pam) is to be congratulated for all their hard work. Special thanks goes to our sponsors Polymer Extrusions. -byS.C.
