Wednesday, March 31, 2004 Orono Weekly Times, - 7 Polymer team to tangle with Hepco The Orono Polymer Extrusions Major Tykes played their last game of a round robin play-off series on March 28 and lost to Hepco with a final score of 7-1. Hepco came out strong. Despite a great effort, Orono wasn't able to claim a victory in this game. Cameron Reilly scored Orono's single goal, assisted by Jacob Diamond and Trevor Greenwood. Daniel Benedict showed great courage and made a valiant effort in making many saves for Orono while playing playing net. Congratulations to the entire team for the determination determination they showed and the effort they made during the play-off series. The Orono Polymer Extrusions Major Tykes face Hepco again next Sunday at 4:00pm in Newcastle for the 'B' Championship. -by SC. ST. The game started off with a goal from Cameron Macvarish (who got. three goals in this game). The next goal was scored by Derek Knoblauch who got a total of two goals. Clayton Martel also got two goals during the game. Our Tri-Arch team took a 6- 3 win over McDonuts on March 27. Thomas Speer May all got one goal and Clayton Martel got one goal as well. Bryce Robinson got two goals along with Cameron Macvarish, who also got two goals. The goalie Tessa Chad did a great job and stopped a lot of goals.
