Brown Paper Goods, 1957 Details
Brown Paper Goods Company came to Libertyville in 1940 moving in to a portion of the vacated American Wire Fence Company complex. In 1951, it employed 70-80 people and manufactured many kids of paper bags, including lunch, refuse, sandwich, and paper bags used for food packaging. Today it is located in Waukegan and continues to manufacture specialty bags and sheets for the food-service industry. As of 2014, the building was occupied by Classic Windows, Inc. which was founded by Tom David and began manufacturing high-quality windows and doors for residential and commercial projects in 1992.
