Captain Jeremiah Porter Minski,. who for many years sailed the Great Lakes and was a former well known resident of Waukegan, died at the home of her daughtet, Mrs. Henry Utpatel, at 1141 North Sacramento avenue < in Chicago last Thursday night following a cerebral hemorrh-- age. The deceased was 78 years old. Mrs. Minski who was born in Bux-- ton, Me., came to Waukegan about 58 years ago and resided there until 30 years ago, when with husband she retired from service on the lakes some years before.
