WHEREAS, it. will be necessary to lervy taxes in excess of the rate lim-- ited by the Constitution of the State Bpecial Committee Bupervisor Ficke moved that the report of the Committee be accepted. Motion -- carried. The following Resblution was sub-- mitted. ; of 'Illinois to provide 'for the pay-- ment of the bonds, and the interest thereon, which are issued for the purpose of paying the cost of 'said County Home; 'Therefore BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Buperrisors of Lake County, I!li-- nols, that at the general election for County officers to be held on the 4th day of November, 1924, there shall be submitted to the legal voters the zmtlo- of issuing the bonds ol Lake ounty, lilinois, in the sum of Two Hundred and Fifty Thousand Dol-- lars ($250,000.00) for the purpose of rebuilding the County Home of said County, and also the submission to the legal voters of said County the question of levying taxes in excess in the sum of six (6) cents on.each One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) of the valuation for each of the years 1924 to 1943 both inclusive, tor the purpose of paying the principal and interest of said bonds, If avthorized. The question of issuing said bonds aend the levying of said tax shall be submitted as a single question, in accordance with the Statutes of the State of Illinois. The County Clork is heroby author ized to give notice of the submission of said question as provided by law.
