About one hundred twenty five teachers attended the teachers' meet-- ing last Saturday at the Libertyville G:ammar School. 'F, A. Huadson directed classes in penmanship. . Miss Florence Hagen, supervisor of art work in the Cicero Public Schools gave some excellent instruction in suggestions For Christmas decora-- tions and gifts; she has ability as a director and her work was much ap-- preciated. E. W. Cavins of the Normal Univer-- sity of Illino!s was at his best in' his talks on phonics and dictionary study. The dictionary contests were spirited and many excellent papers were hand-- ed in. Of the one hundred who took the peliminary test thirteen were se-- lected these being the ones who had made the highest marks in the first test.
