Description
A stone inscribed, "Public School A.D. 1874". This date stone is from one of the six schools that Egerton Ryerson chose as his model schools. The building this stone belonged to eventually became the Canadian headquarters for Lady Pinkham, a well-known American manufacturer of medicine, specifically for women.
