Description
The tilt top table and four chairs were a gift from a family distantly related to Sir John A. The style of chair is similar to that shown in the famous Robert Harris painting of the Fathers of Confederation.
Notes
It has been suggested that the future Prime Minister, who articled as a lawyer in Kingston, spent a short time at the law offices located in Victoria Hall. A recreation of the office of James Cockburn, first speaker of the House of Commons under Sir John, is currently in Victoria Hall.
