- The tilt top table and four chairs were a gift from a family distantly related to Sir John A. The style of chair is similar to that shown in the famous Robert Harris painting of the Fathers of Confederation.
- Notes
- It has been suggested that the future Prime Minister, who articled as a lawyer in Kingston, spent a short time at the law offices located in Victoria Hall. A recreation of the office of James Cockburn, first speaker of the House of Commons under Sir John, is currently in Victoria Hall.
