- North Side of King Street West. Sam Clarke was the proprietor of two large stores on King street. One was devoted to tailoring, gents fashions, ready-made clothing, hats and caps. The other store was a general dry goods which included bankrupt stocks as a special feature. The store was taken over by Scougale's of Colborne.
