Unfortunately I don't know who this is, but I do have two other photographs taken by the same photographer. One image is of Joab Nobles (1811 - 1896) the brother of my Great Grandfather Joseph Nobles (1814 - 1894). The other photo is of Johnston of Eddystone (written on back).
The photographer was C. Lawes of King Street, Cobourg, Ontario.

A photo has been donated to Heritage Alnwick/Haldimand created by this same photographer. The photo says Elisha Eddy, Centreton. lot 16. on the back. The photo is of an elderly lady and a young man maybe 16 years of age.
As Elisha Eddy was a man who died in 1867, we assume the lady may be his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Sargent Eddy (1814-1892)
I would be interested in seeing the photo of a Johnston in Eddystone, as my GG grandmother was a Johnston from Eddystone.
