Description
35 King St. E.
Notes
William Gravely built this two storey home sometime between 1837 and 1848. It was later converted for commercial use. It housed the Cobourg Credit Union for the longest time and now the James Gordon Insurance Company. Of interest is a plaque that is located just below the roof line on the front of the building. These plaques used to notify the fire brigades that the structure was covered by fire insurance and therefore should be taken care of first in case of fire.
