This is a brief Corrigal introduction to Jacob Corrigal's own 1841/42 built House on William Street and its missing Deed #6605 of 1841-1844.Jacob et al was my indigenous Orkney, Scotland, 1775 born ancestor, Jacob Corrigal, who was age 15-in 1790-not "1772", when he had managed to lie and became an indentured member of and to the great Hudson's Bay Company of Rupert's Land, by claiming he was an 18 year old bachelor while located in Stromney, Orkney.

50 Years later, a retired commissioned officer of the HBC, in 1840, Jacob Corrigal, now age 65 and a 17 year "Widower" the beloved father of five daughters and one bachelor son. Their beloved indigenous Metis born mother, Mary Corrigal, had died at the HBC's Post of Martin(sic) Falls, on the Albany River. Mary died on the 23 September, 1823 at the age of 35.

Two of the original five Corrigal spinster sisters finally married namely Ann (Corrigal) Nourse, and Mary (Corrigal) Scollie-named after her beloved mother "Mary Corrigal". The other five Corrigals: Jacob, the father, with his four Corrigals namely Charlotte Elizabeth Catherine and William all four had died unmarried as three spinsters and one bachelor they are seen as having been identified and buried at their father's sarcophagus on the east side of the then Wooden Anglican Church on Cobourg's King Street East, by the Reverend Alexander N. Bethune in 1844. I inherited and hold Jacob's "Coded WILL" and his spouses engraved 1823 "Gold Ring" all from my great grandmother of Otonabee Township, Margaret Charlotte Corrigal (Scollie) Fowler, where her own mother Mary (Corrigal)Scolli was buried in 1862.Where now is the unregistered #6605 land Deed?
