- "Harold Margles, B.A., LLB., son of Mr. and Mrs. M. Margles, visited the Sentinel-Star last week. Completing his LL.B. in 1958, Harold was a member of the premier class from the University of Toronto Law School after Osgoode Hall lost the monopoly for graduating law students. Cobourg's newest lawyer articled under Terrance Sheard Q.C., a Toronto expert in estates and wills and under Andrew Brewin Q.C., a general counsel who, according to Harold Margles, wages a one-man war against the Canadian Immigration Laws.
'I am very much in favor of the English system - the division between barristers and solicitors.'
Harold Margles is primarily interested in court work and stated that although there is more remuneration from work on wills an estates this becomes tedious and fails to give the lawyer the satisfaction of helping someone in court." Cobourg Sentinel-Star - Publisher
