OBITUARY

CLARENCE HARRISON LANGFORD

Clarence Harrison Langford passed away suddenly at Colborne on April 22nd, 1971, beloved husband of Grace Spier, in his 59th year.


He was the son of the late Clarence Langford and Myrtle Tuck.


He is survived by sisters, Mrs. Howard Russell (Gladys) of Willowdale; Mrs. Wm. Honeywell, (Bertha) of Cobourg; Mrs. Everett Samis (Dorothy) also of Cobourg and Mrs. Keith Thain (Lillian) of Warkworth; and one brother Mr. Douglas Langford of Hastings and one step-brother Mr. Howard Russell of Willowdale.


He was predeceased by an infant son, Robert Claude and an infant brother Ernest and by one sister, Violet.


Mr. Langford who had been. a former patient of the Warkworth Community Nursing Home, rested at the Allen Funeral Home for a private funeral service on April 24th.


Rev. H.H. Lackey officiated at the service. The pallbearers were all nephews. Doug Langford Jr., Jim Langford, Jack Russell; Carmen Birney, Larry Hamill and Paul Thain.


Internment was in Lakeport Cemetery.
