Tenders for the
COMPLETION OF RICE LAKE BRIDGE,
According to the plans of Walter Shanly, Esq., will be received at the office of the Cobourg & Peterboro’ Railway, Cobourg, up to 12 o’clock; noon.
On MONDAY, DECEMBER 21st, ‘74
The plans and specifications, together with the amount of work done, and all information required, will be furnished on application to JAMES R. BARBER, Esq., Superintendent.
The Company do not bind themselves to accept the lowest or any tender.

TOWNSHIP OF HALDIMAND
ROADS
NOTICE is hereby given, that after the expiration of thirty days from date hereof, the Corporation of the Township of Haldimand will pass a By-Law to open and establish a Public Road running upon Lot number Eight, in the Eighth Concession of said Township, which said Road has been surveyed and reported upon by John Daintry, Road Surveyor, the Report bearing date the 22nd day of August, 1874, and attached hereto:
Commencing on the east side of the allowance for the road between Lots Eight and Nine, in the Eighth Concession of the Township of Haldimand, and at the distance of 20 chains and 15 links from the south-west angle of said Lot No. 8; thence north, 66 deg. Eat, 4 chains and 52 links to station No. 2; thence north, 18 deg. 30 min., west 11 chains to station No. 3; thence north, 47 deg. East 8 chains and 8 links to station No. 4; thence north, 26 deg. 30 min. east 7 chains and 40 links to station No. 5; thence north 2 deg. west 7 chains 22 links to the south side of the middle road across said Lot. No. 8; also, commencing at the aforesaid station No. 3, on a course south 75 deg. 30 min. west 3 chains to the west side of said Lot. No. 8; stakes planted in the centre of said Road; and the width of the said Road is 66 feet.

TOWNSHIP OF HAMILTON.
NOTICE is hereby given, that after the expiration of one month, a By-Law will be passed by the Corporation of the above Township, for closing that portion of the Sully Road running across Lot 9, and part of Lot 10, in 7th Con.; and a By-Law for conveying the North half of the side road allowance between Lots 24 and 25, in the 4th Con., to John Black, except to much of said line as is now occupied by the present travelled road, will also be passed after the expiration of the time required by law.
