HODGSON, Ralph Junior Wakely
“Clem“ (WWII Veteran, Lieutenant
Midland Regiment, Manager of the
Lindsay Central Exhibition from 1971 -
1985) - Entered into rest peacefully at
home on Tuesday, April 10, 2007. Born
February 19, 1920, Ralph was the beloved
husband of the late Betty McArthur. Loved
father of Rick and his wife Jan of Nanaimo,
B.C., Susan and her husband Eric Hall of
Ottawa, Peter and his wife Julie of Whitby,
Philip and his wife Linda of Lindsay. Ralph
will be forever remembered by his
grandchildren, Jennifer and Christopher
Hall; and Benjamin and Mallory Hodgson.
Survived by his sister Fern Donnelly of
Minden and sister-in-law Marion of Port
Hope. Predeceased by his sister Lila and
brothers William and Nelson. Mr. Hodgson
will be resting at the MACKEY FUNERAL
HOME, 33 Peel Street, Lindsay (705-328-
2721) on Friday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m.
Funeral service at the Queen Street United
Church, 35 Lindsay Street North, Lindsay
on Saturday, April 14th at 11:00 a.m.
Interment later at Riverside Cemetery,
Lindsay. The family would appreciate
memorial donations to the Royal Canadian
Legion, Branch #67 or the War Amps of
Canada. Comrades of the Royal Canadian
Legion, Branch #67 and visiting comrades
are asked to assemble at the church at
10:45 a.m. for a service at 11:00 a.m.
