MUNRO, James (Jim) Macready - Jim, a
WW II veteran, fought on D-Day, going
ashore at Normandy with the S.D. and G.
Highlanders. Born in Toronto, he was a
resident of Cobourg for 60 years and was
the business manager at Margles on King
St. W, Cobourg. Died suddenly at his home
on Monday January 14, 2008. James in his
92nd year was the beloved husband of the
late Elizabeth (Beth) Munro and the late
Lois Munro. Loving father of Ian (Lynne) and
Murray (Fran). Dear grandfather of Susan,
Liane, Erin, Michael, Sean and great
grandchild William. Dearest brother of Ian
(the late Lola). A private family service will
take place. Arrangements entrusted to
MACCOUBREY FUNERAL HOME, 30 King
St. E, Cobourg. Memorial donations can be
made by cheque to a charity of your choice.
