STACEY, William George (Bill) - passed

away peacefully at Lakeridge Health

Oshawa surrounded by his loved ones on

May 27, 2008, in his 75th year, after

surrendering to the disease of leukemia.

Beloved husband of Marlene. Children

Evelyn (Scott), Donald (Linda) and Beverly

(Richard); 5 grandchildren: Tabitha, Michael,

Brian, Cameron and Karen and 3 stepgrandchildren.

Survived by sisters Vina

(Cliff) Flintoff, Jean (Don) Lepine, Winnie

(Mike) Kube, brother Norm (Ruth) and many

nieces and nephews and their families.

Predeceased by parents Margaret

(Forsythe) and Roy and siblings Wilbur,

Dorothy, Verna, Vernon (Bud) and Sid. In

respect of Bill’s wishes, no funeral service

will be held. A celebration of his life will take

place at Newtonville Community Hall on

Saturday, June 7, from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. In

lieu of flowers, donations in Bill’s memory to

the Durham Regional Cancer Centre,

Leukemia Research Foundation, Trillium

Gift of Life Network, Newtonville Community
