Turck, Raymond Victor 'Ray' (Died)

TURCK, Raymond (Ray) Victor -

Peacefully At Northumberland Hills Hospital,

Friday September 5th, 2008 in his 86th

year. Beloved husband of Eileen (nee

Wilson). Loving father of Deborah (the late

Wells Robertson), David (Debbie) and Jane

(Michael Dick). Dear grandfather of Drew

(Mishele), Lindsey, Brett (Sarah), Kiera,

Jennifer, Lesley (Michael) and Mikie. Proud

great grandfather of Zander. He will be

missed by his sister Mary Mack and her

family. Ray was born and raised in Port

Hope. He served as a flight officer for 5

years in the RCAF. Post war he returned to

Port Hope where he and his wife owned and

successfully operated their family restaurant

for over 36 years. Ray also served as a

member of the Town Council, a volunteer

fireman and commissionaire in the

Canadian Corps. It was Ray’s request that

there be no funeral. Cremation and a private

family gathering have taken place.
