- A photo caption from an undated newspaper clipping (23cl) entitled Colborne in 1856, likely Colborne Express reads: Colborne's Main Street in the 1860's. This old photograph shows the south side of King Street at the corner of Division Street. Stores include Vars and Strong Carriage Factory, McRae Boots and Shoes, Peterson and Brother Hardware. the Cheap Case Store, Dulmage's Dentist and the New Post Office and Store.
