Description
This image was published in How Firm a Foundation: A History of the Township of Cramahe and the Village of Colborne in Cramahe's Digital Archives (3bk), p.144. The caption reads: "Corner of Percy and Church Streets, circa 1870-1880. The building on the corner (at right) is the Methodist (now United) Church. The small house that seems to poke out from under the church's eaves, is still standing there at the time of writing. On the hill beyond (at left), the large house amid the trees is Kelwood. The red brick of the church was made locally at the Keeler brick yards."
