- This image was published in How Firm a Foundation: A History of the Township of Cramahe and the Village of Colborne in Cramahe's Digital Archives (3bk), p.154. The caption reads: "Donaghy’s furniture and picture framing shop was located on the east side of Victoria Square around the turn of the 20th century. The carriage in front is called a phaeton; it is driven by Dr. James Alyea, veterinarian (front left). The boy beside him is Vernon Westfall; the other man in front is unidentified. Behind are (from left) Mrs. Alfreda Westfall, Cliff Alyea, Mrs. Mary Catherine Alyea. Dr. Alyea is the gentleman who first detected the 1911 fire that destroyed Kelwood. He helped to rouse the families inside and get everyone to safety."
