"W0005 Walking Stick - l - 37 inches. Black ebony - gold engraved knob, silver metal tip. Presented to E. Cochrane M.P. July 1887"
He was first elected on June 20, 1882 and defeated on February 22, 1887. Re-elected six more times. Edward Cochrane (1 January 1834 - 8 March 1907)."
