Description
Rowsome's Bakery by Harold Harnden - "I remember the bakery on the south side of the street, 3 doors east of the Bristol (Queens) Hotel. A friend of our family work there weekends. Her name was Gladys Miller, a student at Colborne High School. Rowsomes bought the business from Mr. Hodgens, 1915-1925. Hodgens had owned a baker in "The County" prior to coming to Colborne."

See Women's Institute Scrapbook - 3sb - for a reprint of a 1930s Rowsome's menu.
