- A researcher provided the following comment (April 2014):
Maria Campbell (ca. 1825-1891) was the daughter of Sir George) Simpson and Marguerite Taylor and lived in Haldimand Township, Grafton area, in Northumberland County, Ontario. Maria married: first marriage to Donald McTavish, 2nd marriage to Donald Campbell around 1864. She died on 20 December 1891. There is a collection of materials (fonds) in the Archives of Manitoba, if any one is researching this famly. - Notes
