Description
Assessment Rolls for Cramahe Township were recorded in a bound ledger. Some ledgers have damaged spines or lost their covers entirely.
Names are alphabetically listed by surname first with property information and taxes following on the same line. All information is handwritten in black ink.
Notes
The township created annual assessment rolls for property tax collection to support schools, community services, and infrastructure.
There appears to be two assessment ledgers for 1875. This ledger is stamped 1875. The second ledger is stamped 1871 but some has written 1871 in black ink underneath. The first two pages (has only two entries) are inscribed as 1871 but every pages which follows is marked 1875.
