The Wartime Prices and Trade Board have arranged, to issue coupons to cover the number of meals served to the extra help. Applications for these coupons should be made at the Local Ration Board. The Board has endeavoured to make it as easy as possible for the busy farmer's wife to obtain these extra rations. The application calls for only essential facts, such as the amount of work done, the number of men employed, the number of days they will be working, etc. Those who are employing workers for a period of two weeks or longer should ask their hired help for their own ration books as soon as they arrive. Rationed foodstuffs must purchased for them with coupons from their books. Life-giving plasma journeys to the fronts in fibre shipping containers made from waste paper. VISITORS TO U.S.A. "Canadians planning to spend their holidays in the U. S. this summer vhen border-crossing restrictions are more simplified, need not take their ration books out of the country with them," said Fred C. Butt, Ontario Superintendent of rationing. Upon entry into the U.S., visitors 'rom this country will be supplied with ration points if they apply to the nearest War Price and Rationing Board in the city or town where they z re holidaying. Points adequate for the duration of their stay will be provided, Mr. Butt explained. "If Canadian visitors plan to remain :n the U. S. more than 60 days, they will be given a regular American war ration book, but under the circumstances, they must turn in their Canadian ration book to the authorities "Visitors to the U. S. for more than 60 days may also apply for canning sugar allowance in that country."
