Our community teachers have come and gone, and once again the three R's are being faithfully taught. Our Young People's League this Friday evening at 8.00, in charge of our 5th Vice-President, Miss Marioi Purdy. Everyone is invited. Our community was shocked to hear of the sudden death of Mr. Ray Anderson. He had been sick only a short time. He died Sunday evening at 7 o'clock. Mr. Hersley Partridge was in Peterboro one day last week consulting a specialist. The doctor says he must remain in bed for some time and not work for at least eight months. Considerable excitement was dent in our town when two young men from Glasgow. Scotland, got into our village lockup.
