Snider, commander of th< Durham Regiment has been gazetted to the rank of brigade commander and is now officer commanding the Durham and Northumberland Regiments; the Peterboro Rangers and the Victoria and Haliburton Regiment, which has headquarters at Lindsay. Lt.-Col. Snider's promotion was officially announced early in the year, but has not been generally known until cently. At her first freshening n senior two-year-old form she made i year record in Subdivision B of 548.75 lbs. butter from 12.918 lbs. milk.
