It was held in Castleton United Church cn five consecutive nights from Monday, Nov. 14th, through Friday, Nov. 18th, 1927. The registration exceeded the expectations of the most hopeful, one hundred and twenty-five having been enrolled. Though the weather was very inclement, the average attendance was seventy-seven, the attendance on Friday night being one hundred and fifteen-Groups of folks were present from Colborne, Cam-bourne, Castleton, Eden, Grafton, Hilton, Morganston, Norham, Shiloh, Vernonville and Wsicklow. It was a Lappy, interested, zealous group of folk who gathered together, often in pouring ran, to be better prepared for tire work of religous education. The staff consisted of Mrs. Norman White of Brooklin; Rev. C. D. Daniel, Camp-hellford.; Rev. H. B. Neal, Wooler; and Rev. W. H. Clarke, Hilton. At the close of the school the staff presented thirty-three pupils with certificates for having completed the different courses. The devotional exercises were in charge of Rev. J. P. Falconer, Colborne, Rev. Geo. Campbell, Camborne, and Rev. A. McLauchlin, Grafton. Rev. C. D. Daniel added much to the success of the school in his sing songs and also as Dean fulfilled his position with dignity and honour. The local iag< m of Mr. Geo. Mr. S. A. Clarke, Treas., and Rev. J. E Beckel. Director, did their work well. The school was closed by a luncheon together on Friday evening, and everyone went away feel-ire thev had spent a happy and profitable week.
