The "Fishers of Men" evangelistic band of Toronto held services in the Town Hall, both afternoon and evening, last Sunday, Dec. 11th. 1927. Extensive preparations are being made for the Christmas Entertainment in the Town Hall, Castleton, on Friday evening, Dec. 23rd, 1927, at 8.00. A very fine programme of drills, dialogues, motion songs, monologues, choruses, etc., etc.. is being prepared. It. looks as if this will be the best Christmas entertainment ever held Plan to attend. Remember the date, Friday, December 23rd, 1927. Castleton and surrounding country were very much pleased to have the "Fishers of Men" return again to our tewn on Sunday last. We might say that the "Fishers of Men" Band are a bunch of young Christians who go from place to place to preach a full and free salvation. The people evidently kenw what was n store for them, as this little Village af ours seldom gets preaching so straight and true, and with such force. Everyone showed their appreciation and respect for Christian manhood by turning out in large numbers both afternoon and evening. Excellent music was rendered by the young men with the aid of violins and cornets, and many good spiritual hymns were sung. The preaching was very touching character, forcing the truth home to many an unwilling listener. We realize that the portion of God's Word which says "The truth sharper than a two edged sword," some professing Christians were forced to take a back seat, when the uth was unfolded before them. The spirit of God was prevalent throughout the meeting, being thor-ghly enjoyed by those who could face the issue. The spirit of God was striving witlj many a lost soul.
