Page Eight THE COLBORNE EXPRESS, THURSDAY, MARCH 8th, 1928 Immediate Rebuilding Trinity College School, one of Canada's outstanding colleges for boys, was destroyed when fire broke out Saturday afternoon, March 3rd, 1928, in the skating rink and, rapidly spreading, enveloped the gymnasium and the school building. Within an hour the historic pile was a mass of flames and although the Port Hope fire brigade was quickly on the scene, lack of water pressure made their efforts useless. The master's house adjoining caught fire, but the building was saved. The estimated daamge is $200,000 and, according to the board of governors, who met, arrangements will be made immediately for rebuilding. When a baby was born Sunday morning to Mr. and Mrs. M. J. Brown, of Peterboro, Dr. Hewitt was unable to iduce breathing and the fire department was called upon to use the pulmotor. After a few minutes application the child breathed and is now progressing well. Read this extract from a letter received a short time ago: Islington.Ontario "Your cockerels were completely satisfactory to me. In fact I have been more than pleased with them at all times. They were the best birds I had in my breeding pens this past season. At the same time 1 purchased from you I bought ten other cockerels but for pep, vigor and agressiveness yours out leave the others. Half of the other birds kicked in before the breeditfg season was over while your cockerels were going strong as ever. They never suffered a frozen comb while the other birds kept under similar conditions were badly frozen, ample proof of the superior vitality of your birds." ' (Signed) H.T.C.
