Nesbitt of Carleton Place, was married to Dr. Harold Woodside, son of Mr. and Mrs. F. Woodside of Calgary. The Rector, the Rev. Mr. Elliott, officiating. At seven o'clock the bride entered the church, accompanied by her father. She wore a beautiful Paris dress and carired a bouquet of bridal roses. The brides-maid was Miss Iva Nesbitt. The groom was attended by his brother, Dr. Stanley Woodside of Winnipeg. A reception attended by two hundred guests, was held after the ceremony at the home of the bride's parents. The bride received many beautiful presents, among them were three parrots, two pair peacocks, and five canary birds. After refreshment's. Dr. Woodside and his bride left for California. St. Peter's Church, Brockville, Ont., was the scene of an interesting ceremony, the church being beautifully decorated for the event, on Thursday evening, Ma"rch 8th. 1928, when Isobel Mansfield and Jean Clare, daughters of Mr. and Mrs. S. Pierce of Brockville. were married to Dr. Stanley Moiles of Detroit, Mich., and to Dr. Fred Tighe of Buffalo, N.Y. The Rector, the Rev. Kenneth Mansfield officiated, assisted by the Rev. J. Mansfield of California. The bridesmaids, were M5ss Elsie Nesbitt and Miss Jean Nesbitt. The grooms were attended by two brothers, Mr. W. J. Tighe of Barrie and Mr. Fred Moiles c; Hamilton. _After refreshments, the happy young" couples le't for a trip to London, England.
