Mr. aud Mrs. Vincent Kemp spent Sunday with friends and relatives at Prince" Edward. Mrs. A. Gould of Colborne spent Saturday the guest of Mr. and Mrs. W. Tweedle. Mrs. Scott Hutchinson and Miss O Seeds of Lovett spent Thursday at Mr. W. Tweedle's. We are pleased to report that Mrs. Abner Gibson is better and is able to walk around. Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Spriutnall, of Brighton, spent Sunday the guest of Mr. Manley Ainsworth is renova ing his house and is adding a ne kitchen. Mr. Lewis Brintnell has gone Brighton as an apprentice in Mr. ' Edwards'jewelry store. Mr. Edgar Waitc is now moving in his new residence which is completed and presents a very neat and tast, appearance. The apple pickers and packers o this place who have been away at the apples returned recently, and all seem pleased with the fruit prospects. At noon, on Wednesday of last week, the dwelling house belonging to Mr, Milton McDonald, of Dundonald, was destroyed by fire.
