Mr. and Mrs. Frank Michell left last Sunday on a two weeks' motor trip to the Eastern Provinces, Gaspe Peninsula and Eastern United States. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Bullock, Port Bolster, were guests of Mr. and Mrs. W. Maslen, Cedar St., one day last week. Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Brown, Miami, Florida, are visiting her sister, Mrs. A. Danford. Davis. In the Napanee Post-Express Aug. 15th, there appeared a picture of Mr. J. D. Mayhew receiving the ownership papers for a boat and outboard motor he had won in a draw from the Legion President. Mr. Mayhew at the same time gave a cheque to the Napanee 137 Branch Canadian Legion B. E.S.L. as his gesture of thanks. Dr. David Engel, Toronto, was a weekend guest of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. H. Hart. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Kernaghan, daughter Mary, Deep River, visited relatives here last weekend. Mary remained for a two weeks' visit with her grandmother, Mrs. Wm.
