Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Blackhall of Calgary, Alberta, were recent guests of his uncle, Mr. John Blackhall. Mrs. Floyd Little, Ingersoll, spent last weekend with her sister, Mrs. W. W. D. McGlennon. Mr. A. D. Hardie, M.A., conducted the service at Trinity Anglican Church Sunday morning. He was assisted by Mr. Fred Baker, who read the Scripture Lessons. Mr. James Davis picked Columbia raspberries on Monday, October 21st; Mr. Albert Dance picked on straw-iberry on Tuesday, the 22nd. Guests last Sunday of Mrs. W. W. D. McGlennon were Mrs. F. Moulton and Mr. M. Moulton, both of Ingersoll. Mr. and Mrs. Victor Campbell spent a few days recently in Toronto, on Sunday, October 13th, they attended the christening ceremony of their grandson James Robert, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Mullin. They also visited Mr. and Mrs. Allen Curtis, Port Hope. Mr. and Mrs. Terry Gifford were called black from their wedding trip last Sunday owing to the death of her uncle Mr. Wallace Greenfield, in Toronto. Mrs. Wm. D. Haig is spending this week with her daughter, Mrs. Donald Ross and Mr. Ross, Woodstock. Mr. and Mrs. Matthew Winter, of Lindsay, spent last weekend with his sister, Mrs. J. G. Waite. Mr. Jim Blackhall, St. Lambert, Quebec, visited his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Blackhall, last weekend. Mrs. B. G. Kernaghan left last Friday morning to spend some time with her mother, Mrs. H. Barrett, Woodstock. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. C. Griffis attended the Opening of the new National Drug Co. building in Toronto last Wednesday. Mrs. Griffis was presented with a beautiful bouquet of roses. Mrs. E. O. Coyle was taken ill while in Ottawa last week and was taken to Hamilton General Hospital last Friday, Where she is a still a patient. Mrs. W. E. Chesterfield returned home last Sunday after spending three weeks with relatives and friends in Toronto. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Chesterfield accompanied her home land spent two days here. Mrs. George Smith and Mrs. A. E. Dillman attended the Baptist Convention of the Trent Valley Association, held recently in the Baptist Church, Lindsay. L- EUCHRE The ladies of St. Francis de Sales Sub-division of the Catholic Women' League held their first euchre of the season Fridlay, October 18th, in the Parish Hall. The Conveners were Mrs. R.
