In this short time they have made many friends, and all are made so welcome in their home. Mr. Val Unwin furnished accordion music for singing and dancing, and between accordion selections the record player was used. Mac Pettibone very kindly showed coloured pictures which everyone enjoyed and he also took several pictures during the evening. At midnight Mrs. Andy Crawford, in a few well chosen words, asked Hazel and Jim to accept a gift, a steam and dry iron, which was presented to them by Dorothy May, also a birthday card sighed by all. They both expressed their sincere thanks for the lovely gift and everyone joined In singing "For They Are Jolly Good Fellows."
