Miss Betty Dunk was a week end guest of Miss Arlis Chatten, Edville. Mr. and Mrs. George Osborne and family, Golden Valley were week end guests of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Darke. Mr. and Mrs. Dean Chapman and Gail, Edville and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Mutton and family, Hilton were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Mutton. Miss Stephanie Mutton attended a shower in honour of Mrs. Gerry Clift at the home of Miss Mary Vanderwat-er, Colborne on Monday and was an overnight guest of Mr. and Mrs. Len Dickens. Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Mutton and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Mutton visited Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Mutton on Saturday evening. Mr. Ted Gillespie visited Mr. Lloyd Gillespie in Toronto General Hospital on Sunday. George Hockney visited Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Pattison. Mr Bert Wilce of Oshawa spent the week end with his parents. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Purdy and family of Grafton and Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Dale and girls were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Purdy. Mrs. C. Irish and Ann, Mr. and Mn Don Swain and children, Ottawa and Mr. Frank Scott, Peterborough were week end guests of Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Mutton. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Ferguson and Mrs. Frank Wilce is spending some Mrs. Frang Wilce ts spending some time in Oshawa with Mr. and Mrs. Ward Lee, caring for her daughter and baby grandaughter. Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Mutton, Mrs. C. Irish and Ann and Mr. FranTf Scott were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Thompson, Cobourg on Friday. Mrs. J. McCracken visited Mrs. Walter Ferguson and Victor in Cobourg on Saturday. Mr. Walter Ferguson spent Easter Sunday with Mrs. Ferguson and Victor and Mr. and Mrs. Arthur McCracken, Cobourg. Mrs. J. McCracken, Ronnie and Erie Ferguson were Sunday supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. Delbert McLaughlin, Colborne. Rev. J. Miss Nellie Mutton spent several days with Mr. and Mrs. John Purdy, Milton and visited other Edville Service at Sharon United Church next Sunday at 7.30 p.m. Sunday School at 10 a.m. We were pleased to have several visitors at Church last Sunday morning. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Patton and Rinn-ette, Toronto were Saturday night dinner guests of Mrs. Ed. Hinman and Ray. Mr. and Mrs. Dean Chapman and Gail were Sunday evening dinner guests of her parents Mr. and Mrs. Harold Mutton and Gordon, Shiloh. Miss Evelyn Not>t>s, Toronto spent the Easter week end with Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Hoare. Mrs. Fred Pearson, Dundonald spent the Easter holidays with Mr. and Mrs. Sydney Pearson and family. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth McCullough and family visited his mother in Cobourg Hospital on Sunday and found her improving. Best wishes for a speedy recovery. Mr. Ross Walker, Toronto who has been spending the last week with Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Chatten has returned home. Easter Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Chapman included Mr. and Mrs. Elwood Rouse, Charles and Janet and Mrs. Rouse's mother, Union Neighbourhood, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Chapman, Linda, Larry and Ricky of Burnhamthorpe and Mr. and Mrs. Dean Chapman and Gail and Miss Nina Lacey. Mr. and Mrs. Lome McDonald of Cobourg were home over the Easter holidays and Mr. and Mrs. George Sprung, Toronto who spent their holidays at their cottage, Little Lake spent the dinner hour on Sunday with the McDonalds. Mr. John Mclnnis, Quebec visited Mr. and Mrs. John Cochrane last Friday night. Mr. and Mrs. Tom Fritz, Brighton and F/L Grant Armstrong, Mrs. Armstrong and Philip, Ottawa spent Easter Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. George Armstrong. Billy and Garry Stewart of Belleville spent the week end with Mr. efnd Mrs. Harry Stickle. Quite a number of Edville friends attended the funeral on Saturday at Snider's Funeral Parlors of Mr. Lome Fiddick son of Mr. and Mrs. William Fiddick. The sympathy of the neighbourhood is extended to his family. Mr. Gerald Eckert, Toronto spent the last week with Mr. and Mrs. Harry Stickle. Dr. and Mrs. Case, Stephaney and Sidney and Stephen, Waterloo spent the Easter holidays with Mrs. Gaynor. Mr. Walter Chapman is not very well these days, sorry to say. Also sorry to hear that Mrs. Hart-slra is in Trenton Hospital at the present. Best wishes for a speedy recovery. The Hi-C Club The meeting was held in the United Church on Monday evening at 7.30. The meeting opened with the singing of Hymn 104, "Christ the Lord is risen today." Lena Chatterson read the Scripture. The group then discussed the dance to be held this Saturday night.
