Euchif prize winna s were Mr. Pinnell Mrs. Pinnell and Mrs. Brown. In March an invitation from Brighton Senior Citizens to attend a Euchre was accepted. Nine Colborne members attended and one was chosen to give a report of findings from the Bulletin. On the 26th, Brighton made a return visit, prize winners were Ladies high, Mrs. Ruthven, Brighton, Second Mrs. Evely, low Mrs. Stirling, Gents high Mr. Cuthbert, Second Mr. Powers, Brighton and low Mrs. Royal. Chinese checker winners were, Mrs. Drinkwater & Mrs. Brown Ia.April the Rev. L M Ware wjis a visitor giving a very interesting address on Citizenshio. The odze winners were Mt. Pinneh Cotter. Julv, a bus trio was taken to Cobourg for the Zone picnic. August, a variety night with several taking part was held. September 10th. the mee'jig was hel<! at the home of Mr~& Mrs. Geo. Blyth. It was a very sttfcessfcil day and Mr. and Mrs Bityth served a lovely lurch which all enjoyed and marry thanks ra e given for 'heir hos- THE RIMPLES LETTER to the EDITOR As a member of the Step In Club I feel it is my duty to set a few things straight with the parents and the elders of this community. On the 11, a ve.y successful bus trip was taken In Alexandra Bav, N.Y. On October 8, the Senior Citizens were entertained at the Aaglican Parish Hall by the Evening Guild. Mr. W Self showed slides of England which were very entertaining and the Guild served a lovely lunch and many thanks to the Guild and Mr. Self foe thf. lovely evening. On December 10, the Evening Guild sponsored a delicious t>; r-kev dinner for the Senior. Ci|i.z ens. Many thanks given for the dinner. HIM • j COLBORNE PERSONAL Miss Pat Johnston, University of Gudph spent the holidays with parents Mr., Mrs Geo. Johnston. Mr.. Mrs Thomas Branigan & Mr.. Mrs Geo. Johnston attended a 40th Anniversary party fo Mr. and Mrs. Gk>. Edwards on Sunday Jan. 4, at Oshawa. tine was in form of a Christmas P'»ram with different ones takinc part even the visitors. Mrs. Sprules was pianist for th_ occasion. Exchange of gifts took place with eve yone receiving a gift. There were get well, anniversary, birthday, sympathy and Christmas cards sent out dur-ir>;: the year. A donation to the Go!Jen Plo-ueh Lodge in memory of a departed member was given also flowerS for anothe departed, member.
