INTERVIEWS - The Parent-Teacher interviews will be held Nov. 6 and 12. Times of the interviews will be from 3:45 to 5 and from 6:30 to 9 p.m. each day. PARENT-TEACHER SOCIETY - The next P.T.S. meeting will be held Nov. 27 at 8 p.m. in the school auditorium. CHRISTMAS DANCE - The Christmas Dance will be held Dec. 7 in the school auditorium. Admission is $1.50 per family with a current P.T.S. membership card which can be purchased at any P.T.S. meeting or from the secretary, Mrs. Bernier, at a cost of 50 cents per parent; and $2.50 per family without a current membership card. Admission for a single person is $1. Mr. Gary Warner will be providing the music. CAMPBELL SOUP LABELS PROJECT -A current education project underway at the school is the collection of Campbell Soup Labels. These labels will be sent to the Campbell Soup Company in return for sports equipment for the school. * This is a school project and it is hoped to collect 6.000 labels. The project began Oct. 21 and ends Dec. 14. Collection day at the school is every Friday. HARRIER CHAMPIONS - South Cramahe Junior Girls Harrier team placed FIRST out of 14 schools in the Eastern Area Harrier held in Campbellford Oct. 12. The Team's best runner at this meet was Teresa Bailey, who placed eighth. COUNTY HARRIER - This year, South Cramahe sent 13 competitors to the County Harrier, the most ever for this school. County runners included: Junior Girls: Patricia Dickson, Barbara Oliver, Teresa Bailey, Lisa Samis, Michelle Uerley, and Marlene Bailey. Junior Boys: Kevin Cowling and David Knapp. Senior Girls: Carold Bailey and Denise Herley. Senior Boys: Ray Mosher, Rick Lackey, and Phil Dickson. All Cramahe runners did very well at this race meet with outstanding performances by Patricia Dickson and Ray Mosher who each placed fourth in a field of 90 p JUST VISITING - Lome Williams, a Consultant with the Sports and Recreation Bureau of the Ministry of Community and Social Services, was in Colborne Oct. 23. He met with Wayne Ring, Director of Recreation, primarily to get acquainted and to determine the recreational needs of the community. Mr. Williams works out of his office in Belleville and is the consultant for five counties; Hastings, Northumberland, Durham, Prince Edward, and Peterborough. He hopes to visit with all Recreation Committees in the near future.
