W, Mutton, Shiloh. Mrs. Jack Montgomery visited Mrs. Clara Brown and Mrs. Joe Clarey in Cobourg District General Hospital on Sunday. Mrs. Kenneth Mutton spent Wednesday with Mr. and Mrs. Neil Taft, Brighton. Mr. Mutton oined them for supper. Mrs. John Day and family. Castleton, were Friday dinner guests of Mrs. Frank Chapman. Miss Elma Pearson was a Friday over night and Saturday guest of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Gibson, Wicklow. Mrs. Verna Hadwen and family, Toronto, spent the weekend with her mother, Mrs. Jack Montgomery. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Hadwen and family, Colborne, were supper guests with her. Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Honey spent the week-end with Mr. and Mrs. Ken McGill, Toronto, and attended the tea and bazaar in Mount Dennis United Church on Saturday afternoon and in the evening visited Mrs. Keith Stiroers in Princess Margaret Hospital. On the way home they called on Mrs. Honey's sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Ham, Milliken. Mr. Robert Darke visited Mr. Walter Fulford, Shiloh, on Sunday. We are pleased to say Mr. Gordon Dunnett is able to be out around again. Hunting /seems to DUNDONALD Mrs. Gordon Honoy Next Sunday will be Anniversary with services at 11,00 a.m. and 7.30 p.m. Rev. Ramjet of Canton will be guest speaker. Mr. Arthur Jones of Cobourg will be guest soloist at both services with special music by Mrs. Grace Samson and Mr. Gordon Jennings, Bewdley, were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Pearson order of the day in the neighbourhood but so far not much luck. Mr. and Mrs. Herbie Trott-man and family spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Royce Simpson, Oshawa. Sunday callers on Mrs. Roy Chapman and Ray were Mr. and Mrs. Harold Peters, Cobourg, Mr. Bill McKnight and Miss Beth Hardy, Toronto, and Mrs. Lloyd Chapman and family, Colborne. Mr. and Mrs. Archie Ferguson, Warkworth, called on Mr. and Mrs. Frank Chapman on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Packard helped with the selling of poppies in Colborne on Friday. Mrs. Packard had lunch with Mr. and Mrs. George Blyth. Mr. Packard left Sunday morning with Colborne friends for the hunting camp near Dorset. Mr. Keith Stimers visited his wife in Princess Margaret Hospital, Toronto, on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Thome and family, Millbrook, and Mr. Glenn Waite, St. Catharines, were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Mutton. Mrs. Lloyd Chapman and family, Colborne, called on Mr. and Mrs. Lyal Chapman on Sunday. Mrs. Gerald Waite, Hilton, was a Monday dinner guest. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Chap-and Mrs. Fred Heagle, Brown's Corners, called on them in the evening. CASTLETON U.C.W. The evening unit of the U.C.W. met on Thursday evening, November 4th, at the nome of Mrs. D. Dingwall with seventeen ladies present. Mrs. Dingwall opened the meeting with a prayer, a moment of silent prayer followed by Lord's Prayer in unison. Mrs. R. Turk read a poem and Mrs. Dingwall gave the meditation on All Saints Day. The Doxology was sung and Mrs. Carr read the Scripture from Hebrew 11:1,32-40. A poem was read by Mrs. Dingwall and the worship closed with a prayer by Mrs. Semlitch. Mrs. G. Papineau welcomed all the ladies, especially the speakers for the evening, Mrs. Harold Morgan and Mrs. Chas. Buchanan. The roll call was answered with a Remembrance Day thought. Offering was received and dedicated. Minutes of the last meeting were read and the Treasurer's report given. Invitations were read to several bazaars and also to hear Dr. and Mrs. Martin Johns at Warkworth on Sunday evening. Mrs. Papineau introduced the guests of the evening, Mrs. Morgan speaking on program planning, and Mrs. Buchanan on presenting Bible study. They brought us literature helps arid many program ideas from their experience with small U.C.W. Mrs. Morgan closed the program with prayer. Mrs. Dingwall thanked the speakers and lunch was served. and called on Mrs. Roy Packard and Mr. and Mrs. Winston Packard in the afternoon. Mrs. Frank Wilce called on Mr. and Mrs. Eldred Eddy and their infant son on Sunday. Mrs. Fred Pearson returned on Saturday to spend the winter with Mr. and Mrs. Walter Pearson after spending the summer with Mr. and Mrs. George Peters, Salem, and other relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Mutton, Wayne and Judy, and Mr. ANCIENT CAMERA AT ANCIENT SITE -- Ontario Sales Missionaries take time c from their busy round of calls to be photographed (at top) at the famous and ancient Parthenon by one of the first "tin-type" cameras. The ancient camera amazingly delivered prints within seconds, much to the delight of the Mission members. The 49th Ontario Sales Mission organized by the Department of Economics and Development, is currently doing business in Greece, Turkey and Lebanon.
