This campaign is to further the education of the older children in this Society, such as trade schools, hairdressing schools, etc. Mrs. H. Elliott, R.N., has joined the staff of the Society as a Supervisor of babies and small children. Mrs. Elliott is from Toronto where she was on the staff of the Victoria Order of Nurses. Miss Needra Cameron, a graduate of the University of Manitoba has also joined the staff as a Social Worker with this Society. "Local milk producer delegates to the annual meeting of the Ontario Whole Milk Producers League in January will decide the future of the organization," League president, La-verne Dyment announced last week. Provincial directors will also make a decision at their meeting later this month. With the proclamation of the new Milk Act and new regulations for the operation of the Commission and the Marketing Board, Mr. Dyment pointed out that the Ontario Whole Milk Producers League no longer has any power to negotiate prices on behalf of its members. Any changes made by negotiation after November 1st will not be legal. "All powers to set he .said, "now rest with the Ontario Milk Marketing Board." Mr. Dyment added that the executive of the League had made recommendations to the »rd on behalf of their producers. "I am happy to report." he said, "that the new gulations and the general policies of the Marketing Board reflect the thinking of our Executive and Directors."
