The winners were Brighton: George Wilson, Cathy Downs, Dave Shaw and Pat Downs. Second place winners were from Colborne: Dave Johns, Lynn McLaughlin Rick Tapley and Carolyn Harnden. The Colborne rinks had the most total points and won the Hall Trophy donated by Bob Hall of Lakeport for Bonspiejs between Brighton and Colborne Juniors. The pries were presented by the president of the Curling Club, Mr. A. Thrower. On Wednesday, March 28th a Junior Bonspiel for High School Juniors was held. Winners were Bob Hall, skip, Frank Hall, and Bruce Haynes. Trophies were presented by winners were Dave Johns, skip, Stephanie Johns and Carolyn Harnden. Trenton held a Bonppiel on March 30, 31 and April 1. Two teams entered from Colborne and one team with Bob Hall skip, Laurie Fenaughty, Brian Troop and Sharon McLaughlin defeated a Brighton rink .in the final game, to bring home the second event trophy.
