Piatt that Mr. Fred Amor order paint from Mr. D. Dingwall for the new classrooms and some other parts of the basement. Carried. Moved by Mrs. Steeves and seconded by Mr. W. Davidson that we advertise for two teachers, one for primary and one for junior grades, in the Belleville, Peterborough and Oshawa papers, Friday and Saturday for two weeks. Car-Moved by Mr. C. VanWicklin of Toronto visited r. C. VanWicklin on Sunday and Mrs. D. Arkils at Camp-belford Hospital in the after- here from Toronto into their new home. Mr. Kingsley Welton, Toronto, was home for the week- Mr. and Mrs. Willet Peebles and daughter visited Mr. and Mrs. S. Peebles on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Darling of Victoria, B.C., were visiting Mr. and Mrs. L. Darling en route to Expo. Master Paul Fitchett of Cobourg is visiting his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. N. Fitchett.. Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Deviney of Hamilton spent a few days with Mr. and Mrs. N. Fitchett. Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Sander-cock of Cold Springs were Sunday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Fitchett. Mr. and Mrs. T. Black spent the weekend in Toronto with Mr. and Mrs. K. Black. Quite a number from here attended the deication of the Centennial Park near Centre-ton and the service which was largely attended. Litttle Mary Campbell of Vernonville spent the weekend with her grandmother, Mrs. C. Quinn. Mrs. James Black of Campbellford spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. George Walker. We are glad to report that Trevor Devine is home frdfn the hospital after ten weeks there, following a car accident. Mr. and Mrs. Wilfred Coleman and family have moved SHOWER FOR NEWLY WEDS On Friday night over 200 attended a shower for Mr. and Mrs. George Marshman (nee Shirley Pratt) at Castleton Town Hall. All enjoyed dancing to The Homesteaders orchestra from Peterborough. Mr. Paul Tait read the presentation address and they were given a generous purse of moneyy. Morganston people joined with Castleton for the occasion. Twenty-five enjoyed a lovely dinner at noon and sports were enjoyed with the following winners: ALDERWOOD WEDDING LANG-BOUCKLEY Alderwood United Church was decorated with white gladioli for the June 16th, 1967 wedding of Carole Anne Bouckley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert W. Bouckley, Putney Road, Alderwood, to Wayne Arthur Lang, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Lang ot London, Ontario. Given in marriage by her father, the bride as charming in a gown of white organza with fitted bodice, portrait neckline, and lilypoint sleeves. Her shoulder length veil was caught to a headpiece of seed pearls and crystal. She carried a cascade of red roses and white feathered carnations. ■ The matron of honour, Mrs. Noreen Davis, sister of the groom, wore a floor length gown with efnpire waist in yellow linen, with a white lace bodce. She carried a cascade of yellow roses and tangerine feathered cainattens with a matching circlet of tangerine feathered carnations for a headpiecec. Milvyn Lang, brother of the groom, was best man. Brian Bouckley, brother of the bride, and Terry Lang, brother of the groom, served as ushers. For the reception, held in the church hall, the bride's mother received in a turquoise lace dress with a matching coat. She wore white occess-ories.and a corsage of pink roses and pink feathered carnations. She was assisted by the groom's mother wearing navy blue with white accessories and a corsage of white feathered carnations and red For travelling, the briiSe chose a blue sheath dress with white accessories and a corsage of pink roses. Out-of-town guests were from London and Oshawa. The happy couple will reside in London. The groom is a grandson of Mrs. J. W. Evely of Colborne.
